Samburu 3 day safari

Samburu region plays host to not 1 but 3 amazing wildlife reserves – that is Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba National Reserves. They host wildlife such as lions, elephants, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, dik-dik and even leopards as well as hundreds of species of birds

To explore all 3 reserves, we will be organising this 3 days and 2 nights safari from Nairobi and back. Our journey starts from Nairobi at 6am with a drive to Samburu National reserve where we expect to arrive at 1pm followed by an afternoon game drive until 6pm. This will be followed by dinner in Isiolo and recap of the day

The following morning will find us having breakfast at the hotel followed by whole day drive in Shaba. Once done with the whole day drive, we will return to our hotel in Isiolo for dinner and recap

The final day we will have an early breakfast and then drive to Buffalo Springs where we will spend some time at the springs where you can swim and dive in the clear spring waters while wildlife pass nearby – not an experience to be missed. Once done with Buffalo springs, we will be returning to Nairobi

We will be staying at a budget hotel which is Grande Hotel, in Isiolo on bed and breakfast basis – this will cost 16,000 for the whole trip excluding lunch and dinner

The cost of the trip covers transport and game drives with a tour van, entry fees for 3 days for Kenyan adults, bed and breakfast stay for 2 nights and light snacks on day 1. We will also be giving out binoculars to use during the safari for better viewing experiences. We have 6 pairs of binoculars that will be shared out amongst attendees – this is at no extra cost and is part of the package
