Located on the slopes of Mount Kenya is a beautiful evergreen forest named after a historical site called Castle Lodge.
The hike starts from the lodge and continues on straight into the forest along well travelled paths and across a couple of small streams.
Eventually we take a branch left and descend down to the magnificent Kamweti Waterfall which is the main aim of the hike. After the waterfall visit, it’s a hike back along the same route back to the lodge
At the lodge just 5 minutes away is another smaller waterfall we can easily visit and relax at
The hike is a moderate 12 km long and has minimal change in elevation
Cost is 2300 and covers transport, guide fees, water and light snacks
Full Description of the hike will be out soon
