Located to the north of Lake Naivasha is Eburru forest which is a mixture of indigenous trees, woodland forest and parts of montane forest. The forest is close to Lake Elementaita in the north and part of the greater Mau forest complex
The forest has several different trails ranging from 9km to 22km long. Our selected trail will be 13km long to offer a good mix of scenery, sights and challenges and we will be summitting the Eastern Summit. This will be a moderate hike
The cost of the hike will cover
- Transport by bus from Nairobi CBD and back
- Entry fees for Kenyan Adults – for residents and non residents, the fee will be 250 and 500 Kshs more respectively
- Ranger/guide fees
- Water and light snacks
This hike is suitable for kids as young as 12 years – please also note that all kids must be accompanied by an adult
