About 50km from Nairobi is a region with plenty of rivers and waterfalls – this is Githunguri and we have a hike in the same area. We used to call this hike Gatamaiyu but Karweti suits it better since it’s named after the first waterfall we visit
The hike is a moderate 14km trek across farmlands and forests with 3 waterfalls and swimming options at all 3 waterfalls. This is definitely a hike to help you cool down with the various waterfall options.
Cost will cover transport by bus, guide fees, community fees, water and light snacks
You can check out the full description of the hike here: Karweti Falls Hike
This hike is suitable for kids up to the ages of 12 years – please also note that all kids must be accompanied by an adult
