Come join us this Holiday to be one with nature and explore the only wildlife park next to a city – Nairobi National Park
This will be a full day safari inside the park from morning until evening and will cover the dams, plains, view points, picnic sites and more. The park has a wide variety of wildlife and birds and we hope to get lucky and see lions, cheetahs, rhinos and more
Proposed Itinerary:
- Arrive in CBD for meetup at 5:45am, departure at 6:00am
- Entry into the park by 6:15am – start of morning safari
- Attempt visit to the Ivory burning site, Nagolomon reservoir and hyena dam by 10am or so – washroom break at Ivory burning site, group photo
- Continue with safari until midday
- Lunch break at Mokoyeti Picnic spot up to about 2pm – second washroom break, group photo
- Drive down to Hippo Pools and do a short guided walk along Mbagathi river
- Visit to Athi River Basin
- On our return, pass through Koome’s Viewpoint where we can see fantastic 360 degree view of the park, Athi River, Ngong Hills and more
- Finally exit the park around 5:30pm where we can have a group photo
The cost covers transport and safari by tour van, entry fees for Kenyan/resident adults, guide fees, emergency water and light snacks
