One of the few wildlife conservancies in Kenya that can offer you a chance to exit the vehicle for short walks and exploration. The conservancy located at Lake Elementaita is teeming with many types of wildlife from the zebras and giraffe to jackals and hyenas. Birdlife is abundant here especially at the lake shore

Besides the lake, the scenery also includes the nearby hills such as Sleeping Warrior in the distance and even some diatomite mines

Cost of this safari will cover transport by bus, entry fees for Kenyan adults, water and light snacks. We will also be giving out binoculars to use during the safari for better viewing experiences. We have 14 pairs of binoculars that will be shared out amongst attendees – this is at no extra cost and is part of the package

This event is suitable for kids up to the ages of 5 years – please also note that all kids must be accompanied by an adult

To answer your questions on our meet up location, payment process and more, please check the FAQs page

Note: cost may change depending large changes in fuel or changes in entry fees. Changes will be communicated to all who have registered

  1. Before i register for the Soysambu trip i have a question. Will i be able to do the camel/Horse rides in the wild on the same day?? If yes please share the cost

    1. We’re checking with the conservancy on the logistics of the rides. From their website they have mentioned 600 Kshs per hour but there are other details we have asked for

        1. Hi, we got info on the horse riding activity. The people offering that are not part of Soysambu and they are located near Serena which is not far from the route we will be using.

The horse ride is charged at 3500 Kshs per person per hour – the rate on the website is an outdated figure.

Unfortunately we’ve not been able to reach the people offering camel rides but we’ll keep trying
