This is a hike that has open forest roads, several river crossings, slippery descents, beautiful dense forest scenery and the crown attraction – the double waterfall with pools

The hike is in Kimakia Forest, located about 2 hours drive from Nairobi



The attractions and scenery are really worth hiking for and this hike will make you work for the views and the experience. The hiking distance is about 8-9km and this is a beginner – moderate hike.
Please note that there will be a river crossing on foot and there is also a 2km trek to the waterfall along the river where we criss-cross several times

The cost of the hike will cover
- Transport by bus from Nairobi CBD and back
- Entry fees for Kenyan Adults – for residents and non residents, the fee will 250 and 500 Kshs more respectively
- Ranger fees
- Water and light snacks
This hike is suitable for kids as young as 14 years – please also note that all kids must be accompanied by an adult
