This is a beginner moderate 11km forest hike located on the slopes of Mount Kenya near Embu town. The hike starts from Rutune gate and slowly goes forward up to the main waterfall after which the hike is named. Come join us to experience this new hiking destination and brave the cold waters from the mountain glaciers and slopes
The cost of the hike will cover
- Transport by bus from Nairobi CBD and back
- Entry fees for Kenyan Adults – for residents and non residents, the fee will 250 and 500 Kshs more respectively
- Ranger fees
- Water and light snacks
This hike is suitable for kids as young as 10 years – please also note that all kids must be accompanied by an adult
