Located to the north of Lake Naivasha is Eburru forest which is a mixture of indigenous trees, woodland forest and parts of montane forest. The forest is close to Lake Elementaita in the north and part of the greater Mau forest complex
The forest has several different trails ranging from 9km to 22km long. Our selected trail will be 22km long to offer a good mix of scenery, sights and challenges
Due to the 22km length with several valley crossings and ascents, the hike is being categorised as moderate difficult. Starting altitude is at 2600m while the lowest point is 2500m. The summit is at 2829m thus the maximum elevation change is over 300m

You can read more about it at the Eburru Western Summit hike description
