This is a 9-10km forest hike with 3 waterfalls and trails with frequent ups and downs. The trails can also be slippery in places, especially when heading to the waterfalls. Hike is considered beginner-moderate
The hike meanders through tea farms before plunging to the forest where cool green light filters through the forest canopy. The reward for this hike is 3 waterfalls spread across the trail in the forest. At the last waterfall we’ll get the chance to take in a dip in the pool below the waterfall
The cost of the hike will cover
- Transport by bus from Nairobi CBD and back
- Entry fees for Kenyan Adults – for residents and non residents, the fee will 250 and 500 Kshs more respectively
- Ranger fees
- Water and light snacks
This hike is suitable for kids as young as 10 years – please also note that all kids must be accompanied by an adult
