This will be an extensive exploration of the expansive Tsavo West National Park, for 3 days We’ll be staying at Ngulia Safari Lodge inside Tsavo West – you can check out their website here: Ngulia Safari Lodge
Proposed Itinerary with photos
Day 1 will involve traveling to Tsavo National park, checking out the scenery followed by late lunch at the lodge. After lunch, we’ll do an afternoon drive until 6pm and then return to the lodge for dinner and star gazing
The next morning on day 2 we’ll do a morning safari until 11am including a visit to Mzima Springs and then have an easy lunch at the lodge while enjoying the views of the watering hole situated near the lodge. In the afternoon we’ll resume our safari around 2 pm until 6 pm
Day 3 we’ll have an early breakfast and early morning safari followed by final breakfast at the lodge and then checkout. After check out, we’ll be returning directly back to Nairobi by 6pm
Cost coverage per person:
- Transport and safari by Land Cruiser
- Entry fees for 2 days for Kenyans. Residents would pay an extra 700 Kshs. Non resident rate will be determined soon
- Full board accommodation for 2 nights with meals
- Light snacks on day 1 and emergency water
Costing is as follows per person:
- Single room would be at 44,000 Kshs
- Sharing in a double room would be 41,000 Kshs
- Sharing in a triple room would be 38,000 Ksh
We will also be giving out binoculars to use during the safari for better viewing experiences. We have 24 pairs of binoculars that will be shared out amongst attendees – this is at no extra cost and is part of the package
